Shabbat at Mt Sinai
Morning services are normally held in Wausau in our beautiful sanctuary beginning at 10:00 am on select Saturday mornings. At the conclusion, we have a light lunch or oneg, followed by an engaging and lively Torah discussion of the week’s parasah (the weekly Torah portion.)
On varying Fridays, we hold evening services that begin at 7:00 pm. We begin with candle-lighting and follow with our worship service.
Our prayer book is the widely accessible Mishkan T’filah that contains modern as well as the traditional Hebrew liturgy with easy transliteration, and beautiful accompanying English readings.

Thank you!
“Remember the Sabbath Day to Keep it Holy
For God rested on the Seventh day, blessed the Sabbath Day
And sanctified it.”
(Exodus 20:8, 11)
Community Shabbat
The Community Shabbat is our annual service and open house. At our Community Shabbat we take time to explain the meaning of many of the prayers and rituals. Afterwards, we gather for an Oneg Shabbat (social time) and our Rabbi is available to answer questions.
Our next Community Shabbat Celebration will occur in January 2025.
Both groups and individuals are welcome to come, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can get a sense of the number of visitors for the evening. Please contact our office manager at 715-675-2560.
Tree of Life
Plaques may be purchased for placement on the Tree of Life, honoring a life cycle event, birth, wedding, anniversary, etc. Tree of Life plaques may be ordered by contacting our office at 715-675-2560.

We would like to offer you our own perspective of what it means to be a Reform Jew today. It is an ongoing spiritual and intellectual endeavor that engages the mind, the soul, and the body to better not only oneself, but to do tikun olam – the repair of the world through doing mitzvot wherever we may find the need.
